Late 19th Century Art Nouveau Cast Iron Umbrella Stand in Black
This is a striking example of an umbrella stand in classic Art Nouveau style, dating to the turn of the 19th to 20th century.
The stand is made from solid cast iron and is moulded with an intricate motif in typical Art Nouveau style. There is a separate drip tray in the base, which allows water to pool from used umbrellas and can easily be discarded.
The piece has been professionally stripped, undercoated, and then powder coated in the original shade of black. This will ensure that the piece lasts another 100 years!
It has a height of approximately 57.3cm, with a maximum width of 33.9cm and a maximum depth of 21.0cm.
It is in excellent condition.
