The #IStillBuyLocal campaign

We’ve launched the #IStillBuyLocal campaign to encourage people to continue to shop local – even as the world opens up and coronavirus restrictions are removed.

About

In response to the relaxing of coronavirus restrictions by the UK Government, the #IStillBuyLocal campaign encourages people to continue to shop local.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic people have been shopping locally more than ever before. This has led many new people to recognise the important role independent businesses play in sustaining our communities.

We want to celebrate this shift in public behaviour by making it even easier for people to find amazing local products, deals and offers, and to continue sourcing most of the things they need from local indies.

The Campaign

The #IStillBuyLocal campaign makes it easy for you to shop local.

Over the next two weeks, on our socials, we’ll be posting deals, offers and sales from indie businesses based in Bath, Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire.

Posts will be going out at 6pm and will allow you to discover some incredible new indie products, businesses and offers.

All you’ve got to do is keep an eye out for posts on our Instagram and show your support to the featured businesses by following, liking and commenting on their posts!

The more you can show your appreciation to local indies on socials, the better, and by tagging #IStillBuyLocal in your post we’ll be able to share out your replies on our socials and across the website.

This is the first campaign I BUY LOCAL has ever run and we’re so excited to see what we can all achieve!

Creative Assets

We’ve included some creative assets for those who wish to share them across social media. Please feel free to edit and amend the assets according to your needs.
